The little Delaware Youth Ensemble currently has two openings:
Preparatory Orchestra Conductor
The Preparatory Orchestra Conductor, in coordination and collaboration with the Music Director, is responsible for the artistic direction and development of the prep ensemble. He/she is the face of LDPE, with direct contact with young musicians and their families on a regular basis.
The Prep Conductor serves as the conductor of LDPE and has authority over all artistic and performance aspects of the LDPE program as agreed upon in collaboration with the Music Director.

LDYE Business Manager
The Business Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. Many hours are flexible work at home, with some exceptions. These include, but are not limited to: attendance at Monday afternoon rehearsals, Board meetings, concerts, the workshop, auditions, and occasional rehearsals and performances scheduled at other times.
The Business Manager has direct contact with parents, the Music Director of LDYE, the Conductor of LDPE, the Board of Directors and donors. The Business Director has strong writing skills, including grant writing, and is a good communicator, well organized, efficient, tactful and a self-starter. The Business Manager works in close cooperation with the LDYE Music Director in planning and implementing LDYE/LDPE activities.
